A passion for cycling
Cycling artist Michael Valenti has traveled the globe in search of inspiration for his unique and distinctive cycling art prints, posters and original paintings.
Valenti has chased the pro peloton in France, Italy, UK, Australia and the US. The Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Tour Down Under and countless UCI cyclocross events around the globe. From all of this Michael finds endless inspiration for his work. All of which are available at veloist.com

Art Director turned Painter
Michael grew up in Stoughton, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Cycling has always been a part of his life from jumping ditches with flaming tires doused in lighter fluid to grown up daily commutes to work.
Vesper George School of Art
Attending art school in Boston’s Back Bay during the 70’s as it was undergoing a transformation was the starting point of Michael’s art career. Commuting daily with his dad, Gerry Valenti, a well known illustrator in Boston, Michael quickly became very accustomed to the rigors of the working art world.
Advertising Art Director
One of just a handful of graduates that went on to work in the arts industry Michael practiced his craft working in two of Boston’s Advertising Agencies during the early 80’s. Robinson Associates and Cabot Advertising.
Leo Burnett Advertising Creative Director
Landing in Chicago in 1989 and working in one of the worlds largest ad agencies until 2004 Michael honed his creative skills. Producing print and television ads for client’s McDonald’s, Hallmark, P&G and Allstate. After leaving the corporate ad world Michael worked with private clients as he developed the brand he continues to nurture – VELOIST.
