My perfect world of Cycling.

The art of make believe.

When I pick up my pen or brush I enter a world where the sunflowers are made from yellow jerseys and espresso is served to riders in the peloton on a cold wet race day.

In my perfect world the wind is always behind me and I never get a flat tire. Sorry Peter.

The best thing about living in my world is I get to make it up as I go. If I’m in the mood for a smile, I draw a smile.

If I’m in the mood for weird, I dig into the Picasso bag and find way to express the feeling. It’s all real emotions that I get to play with on paper, board and computer. And it’s always something different. I never really know what mood will strike on the day.

If I’m needing a fix of the old-school, I just squeeze out some paint and go visit Coppi for his famous charge up the Izoard in 1949.

Or if I’m looking for a more touching moment, I can find that too. It really is a wonderful place I live in, my world of make believe. Where I can float on a cloud or draw hearts made from bikes … thanks for hanging out with me.
